Change

“If you always do as you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” ~Henry Ford

Every moment is an opportunity to change.

Your environment has a lot of control over your mental state. The people you surround yourself with influence your actions, behaviors, your moods. By changing your environment, you have the ability to do away with the things that don’t serve you, the people that don’t serve you, the environment that doesn’t serve you, and the opportunity to start anew.

In today’s world, technology enables us to be productive, contributing members of society wherever we choose to be located. Coupled with that, there are many opportunities to work locationally independent.

For example, I just moved from my hometown to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where after taking a month long course, I became certified to teach English. I will be teaching English online while traveling the world. If you’re looking to travel the world while earning money, teaching is a great option. Simply traveling opens up your world and changes your perspective. Even if you return to the environment you were in before, you’ll be better for having traveled.

Changing your environment and adding novelty for your life has the effect of putting more “life in your years”. For more on that specific thought, check out Evan from Trekyeah’s explanation:

How can Travables help you make that change today?
